In 1977, the entity that is now known as US Assure purchased the right to a homebuilder’s insurance program. From there, the company’s understanding of the residential general contractor market grew, and throughout the years, US Assure has expanded its portfolio of construction products to include a “whole spectrum of coverage options, everything from residential builders to commercial contractors and everything in between,” says COO Ryan Schwartz. “We are unique because most carriers do not place builder’s risk in a programs model; they do it themselves.
